The Most Biodiverse Place in America is a feature documentary exploring the extraordinary ecological richness of San Diego County through the story of naturalist John Fiske and his sons, Johnny and Charlie. Journeying from chaparral and oak woodlands to mountains, desert, and the Pacific coast, the film reveals a landscape of remarkable biodiversity while exploring a deeper story of family, stewardship, and our connection to the natural world.

At its heart, the film is about what we inherit—and what we choose to protect—told through an intimate relationship between a father, his sons, and the wild places that shaped them.
